February is a suitable trekking season for Everest Base Camp. While the first 2 weeks of February is all about coldness but last two weeks are colder like spring once. As per trekkers, the month of February is a bit more hospitable to cold as compared with January.

In Nepal February is as cold a month as January. There is noticeable shift in the weather, but only after half-way of the month. By the end of February, temperatures in Namche Bazaar will be close to 6C (43F).

With snow coming down, some of the high passes including on Three Passes Trek will likely be closed in this month. The consecutive rises in temperatures will still be cold. Just like January, we strongly advise against trekking in February to the people who are not experienced hikers. Additionally, winter trekking is strictly not advisable to undertake solo.
